Dpp is a pre-processor for depot. See README.dpp for details. 

This version is incompatible with the 3.X release of dpp. This version
is incompatible with the 4.X (020) release of depot.

The files ending in '.gz' are compressed with GNU zip. This 
program is available from aeneas.mit.edu in /pub/gnu.

The files in this directory are
        README.dpp      - readme file from the dpp.tar.gz distribution
        dppp.tar.g z    - a symlink to the latest version of dpp
        dpp.ps.gz       - The dpp paper presented to LISA VII
        old             - the "old" source code for dpp
